Terms of Service — LMS

These Terms govern your use of the Advistors Learning Management System (“LMS”). By creating an account or accessing the LMS, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service

The LMS enables organisations and learners to host, enrol in, and complete courses, assessments, and certifications. We may improve or change features from time to time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • If you register on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, harmful, or infringing content or activity.
  • No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
  • No sharing of another person’s credentials or personal data without consent.

4. Customer content & IP

You (or your organisation) retain ownership of courses, media, and other content you upload. You grant Advistors a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the LMS and provide support.

5. Third-party services & payments

If payments are enabled, transactions are processed by a third-party provider. Their terms and privacy policy apply to payment data. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.

6. Privacy & data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the LMS Privacy Policy. By using the LMS, you consent to that processing.

7. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised access.

8. Availability & support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance or emergency work may occur. Support is available via our contact page.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service. You may terminate at any time; see the Data Deletion page for how to request deletion of your data.

10. Warranties & liability

The LMS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advistors is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the LMS is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local law requires otherwise.
